Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at this hotel, which had a mix of positives and negatives. The room I was given was very noisy due to the vent blowing from early morning until late at night. Additionally, being at the front of the hotel meant hearing the constant traffic outside, forcing me to close the window to get some sleep. However, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a nice view overlooking the main road, despite the surrounding untidy and scruffy area with another building nearby.
The hotel is cozy and convenient, making it a good base for exploring the surrounding areas. The rooms are equipped with freeview TV, a kettle, tea, and coffee. However, the room temperature was uncomfortably warm, affecting sleep quality. The dining experience was delicious and plentiful, but late-night returnees faced challenges with preordering. The location is stunning and ideal for visiting Arisaig, Mallaig, Silver Sands, Moran, and the Western Isles.
The hotel has lively and warm rooms that seemed well equipped for a short stay, despite getting a little warm at times. The service was excellent and helpful, making for a lovely evening. Its beautiful and central location offers lots of opportunities for exploring, especially for outdoor activities like hiking and day trips to nearby attractions. The dining experience varied, with some options not as expected, but award-winning local meats were available. Overall, a decent choice considering the challenges faced by the hospitality industry.
